Semiannual MRI Scans May Be Better At Detecting Breast Cancer In Young Women With High Genetic Risk Than Mammograms, Study Suggests.

HealthImaging (9/13, O'Connor) reports researchers “found undergoing MRI scans every six months better detected early breast cancer in young women with a high genetic risk for the disease compared to mammograms.” The findings were published in Clinical Cancer Research.
