Ultrasound after DBT obviates diagnostic 2D mammo

Aunt Minnie (12/5, Yee) reports that performing a diagnostic mammogram to assess suspicious masses found on digital breast tomosynthesis (DBT) may not be unnecessary if ultrasound is available, according to a new study published online on November 29 in the British Journal of Radiology.
