Smokers Who Receive Radiotherapy for Breast Cancer May Face Higher Risk of Lung Cancer or Heart Attack Than Non-Smokers, Study Suggests

DOT Med News (3/24, Dubinsky) reported that “smokers who receive radiotherapy for breast cancer put themselves at a higher risk of lung cancer or heart attack than non-smokers.” The findings were published in the Journal of Clinical Oncology.
