Some Patients with Breast Cancer Undergoing Preop Mammography, Ultrasound Would Be More Accurately Imaged for Tumor Size with Breast MRI, Research Suggests

HealthImaging (4/17, Pearson) reports that research suggests “a third of breast-cancer patients undergoing preoperative mammography and ultrasound would be more accurately imaged for tumor size with breast MRI.” The findings were published online in the Journal of Surgical Oncology.
