Breast Density May Have Only Minor Impact On Radiation Dose During Mammography, Study Suggests.

Diagnostic Imaging (7/10) reports that research suggests “breast density has only a minor impact on radiation dose during mammography examinations.” Investigators “determined that it was breast thickness that was the primary determinant of dose.” The findings were published in The Breast Journal.
