Forming the Breast Imaging Fellowship Consortium

The Breast Imaging Fellowship Consortium formed with the goal of offering a full didactic curriculum to breast imaging fellows by pooling our resources and expertise. Providing 40+ hours of lecture to fellows each year is vital but difficult for programs with increasing clinical volumes. What began as weekly lectures has grown into a inclusive community of breast imagers committed to providing our patients with the best care. The program is open to all breast imaging fellowship programs. We are always excited to have new program join! Consider joining today!

Mission

To provide a comprehensive curriculum through fellow-level, weekly, virtual lectures using a collaborative, inclusive community of breast imagers.

Consortium Benefits

Weekly Didactic Curriculum
Journal Club
Fellow Showcase

Every Wednesday at noon EST we offer a live lecture with Q and A covering topics related to breast imaging. Lectures are given by consortium members, which also offers faculty an opportunity to showcase their expertise as well.

Quarterly Journal Club discussions occur on Tuesdays at 5pm EST to keep fellows up to date on topics related to breast imaging and to learn critical review of literature.

Fellows have the opportunity to showcase their research through an annual virtual showcase. This is a great way to share their hard work and get a chance to present at a national level.
