Early Career Webinar Series: Identification and Pursuit of High Value Endeavors

Tuesday, September 10, 2024
8:00 PM - 9:00 PM (EDT)
Category: Webinar

Description: When radiologists transition out of residency, they will have many new opportunities available to them. It is very easy to get involved in a wide range of activities that quickly fill a radiologist’s administrative/academic time. While many of these endeavors might be intellectually or professionally very interesting, they may not be the high-value endeavors that allow one to transition into future more meaningful projects. With a finite amount of time in the work week, engaging in time-consuming low-value endeavors can limit the opportunity for future opportunities. In this webinar, we will discuss strategies to identify and pursue high-value endeavors to maximize your early career potential.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Understand the difference between low and high-value endeavors.
  2. Develop strategies to pursue high-value endeavors.
  3. Understand how to leverage current endeavors into future opportunities.
  4. Learn to plan a strategy to maximize meaningful contributions to Breast Imaging outside of patient care.
