This live panel will focus on the practical side of sustaining a career in breast imaging, including the systems-level pressures and individual choices that shape whether a career feels manageable. Topics will include managing high study volumes and RVU pressure, setting boundaries around availability and after-hours work, navigating medicolegal stress, recognizing burnout in yourself and colleagues, and identifying which workplace factors are within your control versus those that require institutional change.

Panelists will share strategies they have used at different career stages and in different practice settings. We will also address how bias and microaggressions can amplify stress for radiologists from underrepresented groups, an area where SBI IDEA has expertise. Attendees can submit anonymous questions for the Q&A during the Zoom session.
