Dr. Laura Dean is a radiologist specializing in Breast Imaging at Cleveland Clinic since 2014. Dr. Dean completed medical school training at George Washington University, followed by residency and fellowship at Northwestern. Dr. Dean’s current scope of practice is broad and includes the screening and diagnosis of breast cancer, in addition to the clinical workup of the symptomatic breast patient and management of benign diseases of the breast. She is especially interested in surveillance of patients at higher-than-average risk of breast cancer, including those with genetic predisposition to developing the disease. Dr. Dean is an avid supporter of Radiology education and serves on the Cleveland Clinic residency Clinical Competency Committee, as well as being active member of the Society of Breast Imaging and serves on the SBI Education Committee.
Dr. Shaista Afzal Saeed is an Associate Professor and Vice Chair of Academics in the Department of Radiology at Aga Khan University in Karachi, Pakistan, where she also serves as the Women's Imaging Fellowship Program Director. She has a special interest in women's imaging and medical education. Dr. Saeed is President of the National Breast Radiological Society of Pakistan (NBRSP) and a member of the SBI Outreach and Education Committees.
