Dr. Katharine Lampen-Sachar is a breast radiologist and Assistant Professor of Radiology at University Miami, Miller School of Medicine. She is also the Assistant Vice Chair of Education for the Department of Radiology, Assistant Program Director for the Diagnostic Radiology Residency at UM, and the Clinical Rotation Director for Breast Imaging. Kate has a strong interest in radiology education both at her home institution and at the national level. She previously served as Chair of RSNA's Digital and Live Education Committee and as member of the Education Council and is currently a member of APDR's Residency Restructuring Taskforce. Dr Lampen-Sachar is actively involved in breast imaging research as well as education research applying adult learning theories and AI to enhance radiology education.
Dr. Nicole Brofman is a breast imaging radiologist and an Assistant Professor of Clinical Radiology at the University of Miami and Jackson Memorial Hospital. She also serves as the Program Director for the Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program and Associate Vice Chair of Education. Dr. Brofman has a strong interest in radiology education. She is involved with research projects on artificial intelligence in radiology, contrast-enhanced mammography, and closing the gender gap in radiology.
