Samantha Zuckerman, MD, MBE, FSBI is Associate Professor of Clinical Radiology and Vice Chief of Breast Imaging Clinical Operations at Penn Medicine, where she also serves as Breast Imaging Fellowship Director. She chairs the SBI Fellowship Directors Committee and is active in national advocacy through SBI and RSNA. Her academic work spans fellowship education, multigenerational teaching, and the integration of AI into breast imaging.
Gary J. Whitman, MD, FSBI is a tenured professor of breast imaging and breast radiation oncology at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, where he serves as the director of breast imaging research, the medical director of the mobile mammography program, and the lead interpreting physician for the Texas Medical Center mammography program. Dr. Whitman is the president of the Society of Breast Imaging and a former president of the American Roentgen Ray Society and the Association of Academic Radiology.
Ethan O. Cohen, MD, FSBI is an associate professor of breast imaging at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, where he serves as the breast imaging fellowship director. He is a contributing author to the Auditing and Outcomes Monitoring Section of the American College of Radiology Breast Imaging Reporting and Data System V2025 manual. His research focuses on breast imaging performance metrics and diagnostic outcomes, and his clinical experience over the past 15 years includes a combination of private practice with general radiology responsibilities, a hybrid academic/community-based breast imaging practice, and an academic breast imaging practice at a quaternary referral center.
Allison Aripoli, MD, FSBI is an Associate Professor in the Department of Radiology at The University of Kansas Health System and an assistant program director for the Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program. She completed a breast imaging fellowship at Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology, Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. Her interests include trainee education, patient and provider adherence to breast imaging follow-up recommendations, management of atypia and benign breast disease, and pre-treatment breast MRI features predictive of treatment response.
Rend Al-Khalili, MD is an Associate Professor of Radiology at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. She completed her diagnostic radiology residency training at Rutgers University Hospital and her breast imaging fellowship at Columbia University Medical Center. Dr. Al-Khalili has a strong interest in research and has published in many aspects in breast imaging. She is very passionate about providing educational opportunities for trainees and has won multiple teaching awards in her career. Dr. Al-Khalili currently serves as the Co-Chair of the Early Career Section of SBI.
Fatima Elahi, DO is a Senior Staff Breast Radiologist at Henry Ford Health and Chair of the SBI Resident and Fellow Section, dedicated to supporting trainees through fellowship and into early career success. She has served as a Past Chair of the ACR Resident and Fellow Section and member of the ACR Council Steering Committee. She also serves on the boards of the Radiology Leadership Institute and ACR Radiology Advocacy Network, and is a 2024 recipient of the JACR Bruce J. Hillman Fellowship in Scholarly Publishing.
