SBI Webinar: Breast Imaging and the LGBTQ+ Community
This webinar, organized by the SBI Inclusion Diversity Equity Alliance (IDEA), will focus on the LGBTQ+ community and how we can better serve this patient population.
Learning Objectives:
- Recognize appropriate pronouns to increase providers' comfort with this patient population.
- Discuss how to make your breast center an inclusive environment.
- Review breast imaging screening guidelines for the LGBTQ+ population.

Physician Accreditation Statement: This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the American College of Radiology and the Society of Breast Imaging. The American College of Radiology is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
Physician Credit Designation: The American College of Radiology designates this enduring material activity for a maximum of 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Instructions to Receive Credit: In order to successfully complete the activity, participants must, complete the post-test with a passing score of 80% or higher, a maximum of 3 attempts will be allowed. Upon successful completion of the post-test, participants must complete an activity evaluation and claim credit commensurate with their participation in the activity.
