There has been substantial evolution in the literature surrounding the detection and management of architectural distortion after the implementation of Digital Breast Tomosynthesis (DBT). Radiologists require concise and updated information to inform their clinical decisions and implement appropriate changes in patient care. This webinar will share illustrative cases of architectural distortion and review appropriate radiologic-pathologic concordance and management for different clinical scenarios.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Describe changes in management recommendations following biopsy of architectural distortions detected at DBT.
  2. Understand the importance of adequate sampling of architectural distortion in determining appropriate radiologic-pathologic concordance.
  3. Review the advancements in the identification and work up of architectural distortion.
