Jean Seely

Dr. Jean Seely is a full Professor in the Department of Radiology at the University of Ottawa, and Head of the Breast Imaging Section at the Ottawa Hospital. She is the founding President of the Canadian Society of Breast Imaging, a Fellow of the Society of Breast Imaging and Fellow of the Canadian Association of Radiologists and is invested in the Order of Ontario. She is a recipient of the Order of Ontario. She is the Deputy Editor of the Canadian Association of Radiologists Journal and a reviewer for many other journals including Lancet, European Radiology, and the American Journal of Roentgenology. Her research interests include Breast MRI, breast cancer screening, quality in breast imaging, and patient experience. She is a volunteer of the Medical Advisory Board of densebreast-info.org. Her commitment is to reduce the mortality and morbidity of breast cancer and provide high quality breast imaging nationally and internationally.
