The Symposium Ultrasound collection is designed to enhance a learner’s competence related to screening breast ultrasound within a radiology practice. The learner will understand the benefits of ultrasound for detecting mammographically occult cancers, how to establish a screening breast ultrasound program and the key steps needed for successful implementation.

Physician Accreditation Statement

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the American College of Radiology and the Society of Breast Imaging. The American College of Radiology is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Physician Credit Designation Statement

The American College of Radiology designates this enduring material activity for a maximum of 4.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

SAM/SA-CME Accreditation Statement

This activity meets the American Board of Radiology’s (ABR) criteria for a self-assessment activity and is designated for up to 4.0 SAM/SA-CME credits toward the ABR’s Maintenance of Certification program.

Instructions to Receive Credit

In order to successfully complete the activity, participants must complete the post-test with a passing score of 80% or higher. A maximum of 3 attempts will be allowed. Upon successful completion of the post-test, participants must complete an activity evaluation and claim credit commensurate with their participation in the activity.
